HOW WE HANDLE YOUR DATA

Data Handling, Cookies, Security and Account Retention

Our approach to data stewardship is built around the principle that you should know what we collect, why we collect it and how long we keep it.

Data Collection Scope

We collect the information you provide at registration — name, contact details, payment identifiers for UPI, Paytm or PhonePe — plus session logs generated when you use the platform. We collect only what is necessary to operate your account and process transactions.

Cookie Usage

We use session cookies to keep you logged in and preference cookies to remember your lobby layout and language setting. Analytics cookies measure page load and feature usage in aggregate; they do not identify you personally. You can adjust cookie preferences in your browser at any time.

Account Security Practices

Passwords are hashed using industry-standard algorithms and are never stored in plain text. Two-factor authentication is available for all accounts. Suspicious login attempts from unrecognised devices trigger an automatic hold and an alert to your registered email or mobile number.

Data Retention Period

Transaction records and account activity logs are retained for the period required by applicable financial-records law in India. Once that period expires, data is deleted or anonymised. You may request early deletion of non-mandatory data by contacting our policy team in writing.

Your Right to Access

You are entitled to request a full export of the personal data we hold on your account. Requests are processed within thirty days. The export covers registration data, transaction history linked to UPI, Paytm or PhonePe, and session records from the past twelve months.

Requesting Corrections

If any detail on your account is inaccurate — name spelling, contact number, linked payment handle — contact support with proof of the correct information. We will update the record within five business days and confirm the change via your registered email address.

Frequently Asked Legal and Policy Questions

The questions below address the terms, data rights and account-policy matters that come up most often. If your question is not covered here, reach out through the contact paths listed above and our policy team will respond with a specific answer.

Your account is governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where you access the platform, where local law permits. Indian consumer-protection statutes take precedence over any conflicting clause in our terms of service, and we apply those statutory rights automatically.

Send a data-access request through the Help section of your account or via email. Include your registered name and account ID. We process requests within thirty days and deliver the export to your registered email address in a readable format.

You can request deletion of non-mandatory personal data at any time. Mandatory transaction records linked to UPI, Paytm or PhonePe payments must be retained for the period required by Indian financial-records law before they can be removed or anonymised.

Any material change to our terms is communicated to your registered email address at least fourteen days before it takes effect. The updated document is also posted in the Legal section of the site, with the revision date clearly marked at the top.

On account closure, we retain transaction records for the legally required period and then delete or anonymise them. Non-mandatory preference and session data is removed within thirty days of closure. You may request confirmation of deletion in writing.

Submit a formal dispute through the Help section, including the transaction reference, date and payment method — UPI, Paytm or PhonePe. Our compliance team retrieves the corresponding record and responds with a finding within five business days of receiving your submission.

Full card numbers are never stored on our servers. UPI handles, Paytm wallet references and PhonePe identifiers are stored in tokenised form, linked to your account solely for reconciliation purposes and not shared with third parties for marketing.
